The Centre for Indigenous Research, Culture, Language and Education (CIRCLE) strives to facilitate the research, and delivery of linguistic and cultural materials of the First Peoples of North America as well as all Canadians. A special focus is on cultural expressions linked with music and language, both for Aboriginal Canadians and other indigenous people.

Saskatchewan Polytechnic - Indigenous Students' Centres
Saskatchewan Polytech has an Indigenous Students' Centre in each of our campus cities. These centres provide support to Indigenous students and helps to ensure that their experience is the best it possibly can be.
Each centre hosts a variety of cultural activities and events, provides a quiet space to study and a number of services including:
- Space to study and socialize
- Computers and kitchens to use
- Cultural, educational and recreational workshops and activities
- Smudging ceremonies
- Soup and bannock lunches

The Centre for Aboriginal Student Services recognizes that many Indigenous nations have longstanding relationships with the territories upon which York University campuses are located that precede the establishment of York University. York University acknowledges its presence on the traditional territory of many Indigenous Nations. The area known as Tkaronto has been care taken by the Anishinabek Nation, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Wendat, and the Métis. It is now home to many Indigenous Peoples.

En mayo del mismo año anuncióse su transformación en un Centro de Educación Superior: la Universidad La Salle. Desde entonces, ha sufrido ininterrumpidos cambios.
